Dear Parent / Guardian:

The VECC serves well-balanced breakfasts and lunches daily for students who choose to buy their meals.  We are always working to offer our students healthier and tastier choices.  School meals are a great value and a huge convenience for busy families too!  The Food Service Department menus are posted on the school website.  For the 2023-24 school year, meal prices are as follows:

The Cafeteria is a pay-as-you-go facility and charging is a privilege offered to those students who forget their money or lunch.  Parents may put money, in advance, on their student’s meal account.  This can be done by cash or check.  Checks are to be made payable to Lunch and Milk. Money may also be added through payschoolcentral.com portal.

 Children from low income families may be eligible to receive reduced price or free meals.  Applications may be sent home upon request at the beginning of the school year, you may print and return the application posted on the school website, or fill out the application through the parent portal.  If at any time during the school year your income decreases or household size increases, you may reapply.      

The school meal program at the VECC is dedicated to supplying healthy and nutritious meals to your children.  Our goal is to treat our “customers” with respect and to provide a positive experience for meal time.  We look forward to welcoming your children to the Cafeteria this Fall.
